Privacy Policy

Short version: every conversion tool runs entirely in your browser, your files never leave your device. The only exception is the contact form, where what you type is sent to us to reply to you.

What we collect

Nothing about your files. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no server that stores your files. Every conversion tool on this site, PDF to Markdown, Markdown to PDF, DOCX, CSV, JSON, HTML, and the image and PDF utilities, converts your file entirely inside your own browser. The contact form, the API pricing page, and the anonymous conversion counter, all described below, are the only things that touch our servers.

Your files never leave your device

Conversion happens locally with JavaScript running on your machine. A PDF, CSV, JSON file, HTML snippet, or image you drop into a tool is read, converted, and shown back to you without ever being sent to a server. You can turn off your internet connection after a tool page loads and it will keep working, which is the simplest way to check that nothing is being uploaded.

Conversion counter

When you download a converted file, this site records that a conversion happened: which tool was used, and a count, nothing else. That request briefly touches your IP address to apply a rate limit and stop abuse, but the IP is not stored against the count, and no file name, file content, or other identifying detail is ever sent. We use this only to see which tools are actually used.

The contact form

If you use the contact form, the name and message you enter are sent to us to answer your message, nothing more. That submission is processed through Resend, a third-party transactional email provider, to deliver it to our inbox. We do not use this data for marketing, do not sell it, and do not share it beyond what is needed to receive and reply to your message.

API pricing page

Clicking a pricing option on the API page records an anonymous click count (which plan was clicked, no name, no email, no personal data) so we can gauge interest. No payment is processed and nothing is charged.

Platform analytics

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which offers its own privacy-first analytics at the platform level: aggregate page views and traffic patterns, no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no personal data collected. We do not personally access, store, or sell any visitor data beyond what is described above. This site sets no cookies of its own and includes no third-party ad or tracking scripts.

Blog posts and tool pages sometimes link to outside resources. Once you follow a link away from this site, that site's own privacy practices apply, not this one.
