Terms & Conditions
Short version: use the tools and their output at your own discretion, we are not liable for how you use them.
Using this site
PDF-2-Markdown is provided free of charge, as-is, for converting files between formats. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to process content you do not have the right to process, to attempt to disrupt or overload the service, or for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to block access for abuse.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that conversions will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free. You are responsible for reviewing any converted output before relying on it.
Your responsibility
You use this site and act on its output entirely at your own discretion. Any decision you make based on a converted file, a contact form reply, or information on this site is your own responsibility, not ours. We are not liable for how you use the results.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or its tools. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
The API and paid subscriptions
Paid API access is billed as a monthly subscription, not a one-time purchase. Your call allowance resets to your plan's amount on each renewal and does not roll over — unused calls from one month do not carry into the next.
Cancelling stops future renewals but does not end your current access immediately: you keep using the API through the end of the period you already paid for, then it stops. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period.
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time; the new allowance and price take effect from your next renewal, not retroactively.
Access may be limited or revoked for abuse or violation of these terms, including sharing or reselling API keys. Refund requests outside the cancellation policy above are handled case by case.
Third-party services
Some features depend on third-party infrastructure (Cloudflare for hosting, Resend for the contact form). We are not responsible for outages or issues originating from those services.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The version at this URL is always the current one. See also our Privacy Policy.
